"But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, The Lord, have spoken!" (Isaiah 54:17, NLT).
This verse has so much truth about justice and the battle against the world and God's children. This is a promise from the real Judge. In our world today, people accuse others without any evidence. This has recently been something that's happened with me lately. I will not go in details about the real situation, but I will say this: Those people cannot plead me guilty. I'm innocent. I know I am. Maybe this is you too. Maybe you are going through your own trials in life that others are pleading you guilty, but you know deep inside that you are innocent. Maybe this is all you can focus on right now and it's taking up ALL your energy. It's shifted your focus.
It's okay to be upset in situations of this, but I've learned you cannot let it take over you. I have focused so much on this situation that I cannot focus on the stuff that's really important. I stopped focusing on the problems and circumstances I could control and started focusing on the stuff I could not control. I forgot there was one other person who could gain control if I let Him: Jesus. The Real Judge.
The truth is God doesn't want us to have complete control of our lives, because, otherwise, where would that leave Christ in our lives? It would leave Christ on the back-burner. It would leave God powerless in our lives, My question is: Why would we not let God control, if He knows more than we do? He knows the unknown, so why do we hesitate or doubt what He could do? I honestly don't know the full answer to that myself, but I do know that God always delivers His promises to His children.
In all of our situations, whatever it is, God CAN be in control of them, because, in the end, God's righteous ones win against this world. It's in that verse that you're reading right now. No weapon turned against you, God's child, will succeed in the trial you're facing right now. or will face later on. God will silence the lies said about you. The world's accusations don't compare to God's justice that WILL be served. This is God's promise to me, to you, and everyone else that defines God as their Savior. God will help you conquer the evil one.
The truth is the truth and it will always overcome any lie that may try to attack you. The enemy will mess with you; that's just how it goes when you're on God's side. This world will hate who you stand for, but the world also fears God's power, and the enemy knows He already lost, remember? At the cross, Jesus conquered all the evil out. He won the battle, and God is the only Judge in your trial; not Satan.
Be confident that God is conquering evil for you right now and will continue to. You are His child. He will defend you and me. This world will not win against our Almighty God. Heck no. Just continue to seek God out, and I promise you no weapon turning against you will succeed. Conquering evil is God's promise to us. He declares us innocent, because we are His, even though we do not deserve it. He pleads you as righteous and this world the guilty ones. Let the Judge do His job! Let Go and Let God.
